Watford FC Tickets
Watford; famous for John Barnes, Elton John and the madness that is Premier League football. Back in the top flight again but only just after Walter Mazzari tried to take them down. The Vicarage Road faithful weren’t having any of it and backed their heroes through to the final kick of the ball in the 2016/17 season. Marco Silva, who nearly performed miracles at Hull City, has taken the reins and is looking to inspire a campaign which will make Hertfordshire proud, and Luton sick to the stomach with envy. Graham Taylor dared to believe and so did Watford as they climbed the Football League. Runners-up in 1982/83, the club dared to dream then; the Hornets will do the same again next season. The top half of the table isn’t out of reach and the bad times which nearly sank the club are in the past. The Pozzo family are hellbent on living the dream with a maniacal enthusiasm you’ll be swept along by. They are dreamers, so should you be from the first strains of “Z-Cars” as the players enter the arena. The Rookery is the place to be when the action kicks off. Play your part as Hertfordshire lives the dream and just a short journey north of central London, you are within easy reach of one of the world’s truly great cities with all the attractions for the family on your doorstep. And when the days over, the city really comes alive! Tickets for Watford FC available so don't wait and securely book your Watford FC Tickets.

Derbies against London clubs are occasions which has Vicarage Road buzzing, particularly those against Arsenal and Tottenham, the two nearest sides in the top flight. Watford have claimed notable scalps in recent seasons, notably a 3 – 1 demolition of Manchester United in 2016/17.

Leading Goalscorer
Luther Blissett: 186 Goals
Also the holder of the record for record appearances (503), Blissett joined the club in 1974 and became a key member of the side which rose from the bottom division of English football to the top in six seasons.
After scoring 27 goals in 41 appearances in the club’s debut season in the First Division, he signed for AC Milan for £1m in 1983. It was rumoured at the time that the Italians mistook him for England international John Barnes. He wasn’t a success in Milan, scoring just five goals and returned to Vicarage Road in 1984.
He played a further 169 times in two separate spells for the club, moving onto Watford, before finishing his career at Bury and Mansfield Town.
Greatest Moment
13th May 1983, Vicarage Road. Some would argue that reaching the FA Cup final a year later was the pinnacle but this was Watford’s zenith. Their debut season in English football’s top flight ended with The Hornets securing the runners-up spot. Liverpool, already crowned champions, arrived in Hertfordshire for the final match of the season.
Watford won 2 – 1, taking full advantage of Manchester United’s surprise 3 – 2 defeat at Notts County to leapfrog the Red Devils into second place. The following season, Watford reached the FA Cup final, as well as playing in the UEFA Cup (now Europa League), eliminated in the third round by Sparta Prague.
